Stacey Copas is an Inspirational Speaker and Trainer originally from Sydney and now living in the Adelaide Hills. She has not let a devastating accident that left her quadriplegic and dependent on a wheelchair at 12 years old slow her down. Instead, she picked up the pace, achieving a wide array of things from running for parliament to training wheelchair users overseas and a long list of things in between.
Stacey has had more than her fair share of setbacks and has used her life experience, research and philosophies to deliver keynote speeches and training workshops with the theme “How To Be Resilient” and will soon publish a book of the same name. The book will be a crucial tool for people wanting to get results when things don’t go as planned.
Stacey has been featured in Grazia magazine, The Weekender Herald and shared the stage with legends in the speaking industry including Allan Pease, Amanda Gore, Pat Mesiti and Mal Emery.
Aside from speaking, training and writing, Stacey has a passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities in developing countries and looks forward to going overseas again soon to continue this work. In her spare time Stacey loves trying new food and wine and you are likely to find her in the nearest patch of sunshine recharging her solar powers.
